Merle Wood & Associates is pleased to announce that the TAIL LIGHTS yacht sold. She sleeps 12 guests in 5 modern staterooms and boasts a striking interior by the Rome-based Galeazzi Design. Her amenities include a private master “beach,” stabilizers, ample al fresco spaces comparable to those on 40m yachts, a hydraulically retracting Bimini top, and elegant finishes.
The TAIL LIGHTS yacht sold by Merle Wood & Associates, which was offered for sale for the first time by her original owner, is a unique yacht with performance and engineering that far surpasses her production counterparts.
TAIL LIGHTS, a 2011 Azimut Grande 116, is built from GRP and features exterior design by Stefano Righini. She underwent a full refit in 2018 that included updates to her interior and a full exterior paint job.
Accommodations on TAIL LIGHTS consist of a master stateroom, 2 VIP staterooms, and 2 twin staterooms, all of which are equipped with en suite bathrooms, entertainment centers, and LED TVs. Additionally, a large sofa in her media room can be converted to a double bed if further accommodations are desired.
The TAIL LIGHTS yacht sold by yacht broker John Jacobi features a spacious master stateroom that includes a seating area with two cozy armchairs and provides access to the water via a private platform that goes down at the touch of a button. The large VIP suite has a queen bed with matching cream onyx nightstands and a celestial starry night glass installation on the ceiling.
The salon on TAIL LIGHTS features cherry wood paneling, fine fabrics, and ceilings accented by lacquered wood. Guest can relax at a glass-topped bar to port or one of three exceptionally deep sofas to starboard that are arranged in a U-shaped configuration while they enjoy an entertainment center that includes a 40-inch plasma television.
Forward of the salon, a dining area seating 12 guests includes storage for glassware, china, and silverware. Continuing forward, the stylish galley accented by stainless steel appliances and dark woods has a leather settee where guests can enjoy more casual meals.
The main deck aft is equipped with a teak table seating 12 guests perfect for al fresco dining and cocktails. Guests likely will spend a substantial amount of time on the flybridge of TAIL LIGHTS, which features 3 helm seats, a Jacuzzi, a bar, and another teak dining table seating 12 flanked by a C-shaped settee. The area is protected by 2 electric Bimini tops that allow in the desired amount of sunlight. Her bow also features a comfortable lounge with 3 spacious sunpads.
She is powered by twin MTU diesel engines with 2,400hp each and reaches a top speed of 27 knots, and she cruises at 20 knots.
