SEA RACER YACHT SOLD

With exterior styling and lines by the owner and Fritz DeVoogt, the SEA RACER yacht sold by Merle Wood & Associates was purposely built to be as light as possible, with honeycomb-based interior bulkheads and furnishings to maximize speed. Designed by John Munford, her interior features madrone and anigre joinery with neutral tones that are highlighted by deep blue accents throughout the yacht.

The main salon is warm, with plush leather furnishings and oversized windows allowing for excellent views. Off the main salon, the interior formal dining area has the option to be enclosed for private meetings or dining.

Exterior decks are just as spacious as her interior, with a main deck aft that features a built-in sofa along with a large table suitable for al fresco meals morning or night. The protection of a hardtop shelters guests from the sun and allows for 180-degree views from all angles. On the bridge deck aft, another built-in sofa is also U-shaped and faced with ottomans and a table forward. Up top, the vast sun deck features a raised Jacuzzi with surrounding sunpads, ideal for relaxation and taking in panoramic sea views.

Constructed of steel and GRP, she was built to ABS classification and has completed a 15-year special survey. Her top speed of 34 knots is achieved via 2 MTU 3,650hp engines that are connected to a 5,600hp Lycoming/DDC gas turbine. These provide her with a cruising speed up to 21 knots along with a range of 1,785 nautical miles at 11 knots.
