The Distinguished 2019 Monaco Yacht Show

Monaco Yacht Show 2019

The 2019 Monaco Yacht Show features more than 500 leading companies in the industry ranging from the most reputable superyacht builders and shipyards, nautical suppliers, leading yacht designers, luxury manufacturers, and brokerage houses to the most sought-after tenders and water toys, high-end cars, helicopters, and private jet manufacturers.

The 2019 Monaco Yacht Show is the biggest in-water display of large yachts in Europe and brings together key players in the yachting industry in one of the world’s most glamorous settings.

The Monaco Yacht Show has benefitted from the recognition and the support of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco since 1991. Once again, Merle Wood & Associates will have a strong presence at the show, and our team of expert yacht brokers and charter brokers will be available to take you through any yacht on display that is available for sale or charter.

The 2019 Monaco Yacht Show – Explore Monaco

The 2019 Monaco Yacht Show takes place in what is not only a well-known staple amongst Mediterranean cruising grounds, but also a place that long has been the destination of choice for superyacht owners and guests. Visitors to Monaco, an independent city-state, can experience upscale casinos, luxury boutiques, exceptional restaurants, and ornate museums and palaces.

The show takes place at the historic Port Hercules, a deep-water port in use since ancient times and a natural home for such an exceptional event set against the dazzling backdrop of Monaco. In addition to being ideally located between France and Italy, Mediterranean hotspots such as Nice, Cannes, Antibes, and Portofino are just a short cruise away.

Refit extensively in 2018, the 271’ (82.6m) O’MEGA yacht accommodates 30 guests in 14 well-appointed staterooms including an oversized master and 13 additional guest staterooms, all set to the highest standards with regards to safety and without compromising comfort or sophistication. Her 2018 refit included a striking interior by NEWCRUISE and Giorgio Vafiadis. She received new furniture and soft furnishings, including new carpeting, new shutters, detailed leather handrails, and new linens. Fitted with twin Yanmar diesel engines with 2,000hp each, she cruises at 12.5 knots and has a maximum speed of 14.5 knots, and she has a cruising range of 4,500nm at 13 knots.

The 205’ (63m) APOGEE yacht built by Codecasa yachts was extensively refit in 2013 and has had just one owner since she was delivered. She has been maintained in top condition, and special entertainment features such as the 22′ (6.7m) long back-lit onyx-topped bar modeled after Monaco’s Café de Paris, a dance floor accompanied by a Wurlitzer jukebox, a karaoke machine, and a spacious adjacent outside aft terrace make her the ideal superyacht for entertaining. She accommodates up to 18 guests in 6/7 staterooms, which include a full-beam master suite with a private study and floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests will enjoy the comfort of a double VIP, 2 queen staterooms, and 2 twins with Pullman berths. An additional room on the main deck features a double pull-out sofa as well as 2 Pullman berths that can serve as an extra staff cabin or guest accommodations.

At 190’ (58m), the LADY SHERIDAN yacht, built by Abeking & Rasmussen, features accommodations for up to 13 guests in 7 staterooms. With the same owner and captain since new, she is kept in immaculate condition. Her full-beam, main deck king master suite features a large study, a generous en suite, and a walk-in wardrobe. The master also features an adjacent single room with its own en suite, should another stateroom be needed. Guests are treated to 3 king staterooms and 1 twin on the lower deck, as well as 1 king VIP on the bridge deck. Interior and exterior styling is by yacht designer Donald Starkey, who chose sophisticated, high-end detailing to create a look of opulence on board. The full-displacement motor yacht measures in at 1,099 GT, a large volume for a 190’ (58m) yacht, and is powered by twin Caterpillar engines offering a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots, with a 4,000nm range.

A classic Feadship, the 188’ (57m) MINDERELLA yacht has undergone a recent, double-digit million-dollar refit. Her refreshing interior is by Yacht Next, who chose neutral tones with pops of bright color throughout, and her vast exterior decks impress with plush furnishings and plenty of options for dining, relaxing, and entertaining. This desirable, classic yacht sleeps 10 guests in 5 completely refitted staterooms and features an 8-person hot tub, helipad, new navigation and communication systems, and Quantum Zero-Speed stabilizers.

One of the last yachts designed by the legendary Jon Bannenberg, the magnificent 185’ (56m) Oceanfast SIRONA III yacht has only had two owners and has been maintained in top condition. SIRONA III is truly the best Oceanfast ever built, and her fit and finish inside and out are exceptional. She accommodates up to 16 guests in up to 6 suites outfitted with a contemporary interior décor masterfully executed by the Oceanfast team, led by Craig Beale. In addition to a vast private upper deck owners suite, she boasts 4 opulent jewel-themed guest suites, 2 salons, an enclosed gym, and a flexible layout that can be configured numerous ways. Her twin Caterpillar 3512B engines provide a cruise speed of 12 knots and top speed of 14.8 knots, with a 5,200 nm range at 10 knots.

Built by the renowned Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard, the 171’ (52m) AMORE MIO 2 yacht completed a major refit in 2014 and accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 staterooms. Her master suite is forward on the main deck and features his-and-hers en suites, a walk-in wardrobe, and a large office on the starboard side. AMORE MIO 2 is made of steel and built to Lloyd’s classification, with exterior design by the renowned Espen Oeino. She features a refreshing interior by FM Architettura d’Interni, accented by details including metal and woven leather. Bathed in natural light thanks to her oversized windows, the 887 GT yacht has the volume of a 196’ (60m) yacht due to her large beam of 33.79’ (10.3m) and 4 decks. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines with 1,875hp each, she offers a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots with a range of 3,500nm. Naiad VT stabilizers give guests even more comfort.

Another top-pedigree yacht for sale with us that will be at the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show is the 161’ (49m) MQ2 yacht, a classic Feadship with a fresh interior and updated mechanical systems. With accommodations for up to 14 guests in 6 staterooms, the opulent full-beam master suite is located forward on the main deck. The additional guest staterooms, which are comprised of a VIP suite, 3 doubles (one with a Pullman berth), and 1 twin stateroom, are all well-appointed, spacious rooms with private en suites and entertainment systems. Powered by twin Caterpillar C32 SCAC diesels at 850hp each, she is capable of a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots. She has a 6,200nm range at 10 knots and is equipped with stabilizers for a comfortable ride.
