Merle Wood & Associates is pleased to announce that the 199.8’ (60.9m) Abeking & Rasmussen EXCELLENCE V yacht sold. Built for a seasoned yacht connoisseur by the renowned German Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard, she was one of the only yachts on the market of her size and pedigree. The 5-deck superyacht accommodates up to 14 guests in 7 stunning staterooms.
The EXCELLENCE V yacht sold by Merle Wood & Associates features a huge gross tonnage of 1,632, giving her the interior volume and comfort of a much larger yacht, yet she still enjoys access to the world's most exclusive ports such as St. Barths, Nantucket, and St. Tropez.
The owner’s suite, situated on the upper deck, was created with the goal of providing complete privacy. A terrace offering total seclusion includes a Jacuzzi, sunpads, and seating that are all completely hidden from view from the bridge above. There are two large dressing rooms, and the en suites feature book-matched marble and maple wood.
Opposite the study, a double stateroom perfect for charterers’ children or other supernumeraries sits just aft of the master suite. On the main deck, the spacious guest staterooms include 2 twins and 3 doubles, each equipped with its own entertainment system and en suite.
Having been consistently upgraded and meticulously maintained, the EXCELLENCE V yacht sold by Merle Wood & Associates features a glass-enclosed elevator that services each deck, as well as a large cinema room, waterfront gym, large beach club, and various outdoor lounging areas.
With the volume of a much larger, 246’ (75m) yacht, she has a gross tonnage of 1,632 and a wide 41.11’ (12.8m) beam. Her award-winning Reymond Langton interior is modern and clean with contrasting light and dark woods throughout, and oversized windows allow in the maximum amount of natural light while offering sweeping views of the sea.
The EXCELLENCE V yacht sold by Merle Wood & Associates also offers outdoor dining on the shaded bridge deck, which features a large expandable table, a full bar, and large TV. Regularly booking out her charter seasons, she has a history of many repeat charter guests.
She also features wide side decks and three hull openings, which allow for a variety of ocean interaction. Guests can relax uninterrupted by tenders and water toys in her spacious beach club located amidships to starboard.
Equipped with 2 MTU diesel engines, she boasts a max speed of 14 knots, and her cruising speed is 12 knots, giving her a 4,800nm range. She is classed to Lloyd’s and is MCA compliant and was built with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure.
