Featuring an aluminum hull and superstructure and teak decks, the CHIMERA yacht sold by yacht broker Jarrett Hiebert was the first Broward yacht that was ABS certified, and she is still fully certified today.

CHIMERA’s expansive full-beam main salon has multiple comfortable seating areas with new cream-colored upholstery and a large curved Sony television. The spacious aft deck features a comfortable L-shaped seating area with a dining table and a fully equipped bar.

Aft of the main salon is a dining table that seats eight guests. The table has an automated leaf that allows it to easily convert into a smaller, more intimate table. The area is anchored by built-in cabinets finished in lacquered wood that provide abundant storage for china and linens as well as serve as a buffet station during meals.

Thanks to her galley down layout, CHIMERA has a remarkable full-beam master stateroom forward on the main deck with a king-size bed, vaulted ceiling, comfortable lounge area, dressing table, his and her en suites, and walk-in cedar closet.

To starboard in front of the door to the main salon there is a wine station with wine racks, wine refrigerator, and glass display cabinet. This area also contains a day head.

Curved stairs on the main deck lead down to the lower deck, where there are three elegant guest staterooms. The forward starboard guest stateroom has two twin beds. The port side guest stateroom has a queen bed, hanging lockers, and TV. The VIP stateroom, which is aft, has a king-size bed. All three guest staterooms have en suite bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs.

Forward on the bridge deck is the wheelhouse, which has a grey upholstered seating area, captain’s office, and cabin. Aft of the wheelhouse is the skylounge, which is perfect for relaxing or enjoying a cocktail before a meal thanks to its full bar with barstools, flat-screen TV, and cozy seating area. Further aft, there is both space to soak in the sun as well as an optional awning for those who prefer to be in the shade. Guests can relax in an L-shaped seating area with large table and bar, and there is storage space for a tender and two personal watercraft.

Above on the sun deck is a large seating area with blue-and-white striped upholstery and another space with two lounge chairs with fantastic views of the surroundings. The area previously had a hot tub, and the plumbing and wiring remain intact if someone wished to install one in the future.

CHIMERA is equipped with twin Detroit Diesel engines with 1,400hp each, giving her a cruising speed of 15 knots and a max speed of 17 knots. Her electronics, audiovisual equipment, air conditioning, and other major mechanical systems all were recently replaced.
