Merle Wood & Associates is pleased to announce that the 65’ (19.8m) BANKSEA yacht sold. BANKSEA, which was built by Monte Carlo in 2013, sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 en suite staterooms as well as 2 crew in dedicated crew quarters. She features a refined, contemporary interior decor, dominated by walnut and grey oak and accented by grey and brown leather inserts and the highest quality fabrics.
The BANKSEA yacht sold by Merle Wood & Associates has now been sold by yacht broker John Cohen two times in one year. This further illustrates our impressive record of having sold many of the world’s finest yachts not just once but often two, three, or even four times.
The BANKSEA yacht sold by yacht broker John Cohen has been meticulously maintained by a full-time captain and is the epitome of elegance and functionality. Built in Italy, she incorporates many features normally seen on much larger yachts, including a carbon fiber hardtop, Portuguese bridge to the bow, and glass and steel supports.
In a reversal from many similarly sized yachts, upon entering the yacht’s interior from the aft deck, the galley is located to port and the dining area is located starboard. The spacious galley features top-of-the-line Miele appliances, including a refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher. Forward of the galley and dining area is the salon, which has a comfortable U-shaped sofa, coffee table, flat-screen TV, Bose home theater system, and helm station featuring Raymarine electronics.
BANKSEA’s three guest staterooms – a master stateroom, a VIP stateroom, and a twin stateroom – are located on her lower deck. The full-beam master, located amidships, boasts large circular windows to port and starboard, a seating area, copious amounts of storage, a flat-screen TV, and his-and-hers sinks in the en suite. The twin stateroom is located just forward of the master, and the VIP stateroom is located all the way forward.
The exterior decks on BANKSEA provide several spaces for relaxing, entertaining, and dining. The teak cockpit features a seating area, and spacious sunpads port and starboard on her bow are perfect for taking in the view while cruising.
A spacious flybridge spans almost the full width of the boat, and the carbon-fiber hardtop with electric sunroof offers guests flexibility. Additional features on the flybridge include a U-shaped seating area with a dining table aft, a grill, a second helm station, and an additional seating area forward.
BANKSEA is outfitted with twin MAN V8 diesel engines with 1,200hp each, which provide a top speed of 29 knots and a brisk cruising speed of 26 knots. In May 2020, her MAN 1,000-hour service was performed, leaving her in peak condition so her new owner can enjoy her. She also is equipped with teak decks, bow and stern thrusters, a hydraulic swim platform and passerelle, and a Xenta joystick controller. There is a separate cabin aft that is capable of accommodating two crew.
We would like to thank the corresponding brokers who assisted in the marketing of this vessel. For more information on motor yachts for sale that are similar to BANKSEA, please contact Merle Wood & Associates.
