The Upgraded 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 

The world’s premier yachting exhibition, the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show showcases the best products and services the yachting industry has to offer. Over 80 percent of the show takes place in open-air outdoor spaces, and all event participants, including exhibitors, visitors, crew, and staff will be required to follow the recommendations laid out in Informa’s AllSecure standards, which include:

• Offering a contactless ticketing system
• Enhanced cleanings of all high touchpoints throughout the show before, during and after each day’s events
• Hand sanitizing stations at all entrances and restrooms
• Prepackaged food options at concession areas

The five-day show attracted over 100,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors representing 52 countries with more than 1,300 boats on display in 2021. Products range from sunglasses to superyachts and everything in between.

The show’s Superyacht Village will once again be located at the Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina’s new “Pier South” location, at the southeast corner of the 17th Street Causeway bridge. The exclusive enclave will showcase some of the world’s most exceptional superyachts and exhibits, including distinguished shipyards, personal submarines, and exotic collectible automobiles.

Located in the Yachting Capital of the World, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show spans seven sites: the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Municipal Marina, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Pier Sixty-Six Marina, Pier Sixty-Six South, and the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, all of which are connected by an intricate network of ground and water-based transportation services. In addition to being centrally located between Miami, West Palm Beach, and the Bahamas, other nearby areas of interest include Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Hollywood Beach.

DOROTHEA III 

Recently reduced by $2M, and designed to explore the world’s remote regions while being self-sufficient leaving a low carbon footprint, the 147’ (45m) DOROTHEA III yacht is an expedition yacht that combines timeless design and a luxurious interior. She was built to be reliable and provide the efficiency of a commercial vessel while offering the fascination and freedom of yachting. DOROTHEA III has undergone three major refits – in 2011, 2015 & 2021 after having completed two Atlantic crossings and South Pacific, North Pacific, and West Coast of North America cruising totaling over 70,000nm. DOROTHEA III recently completed an Atlantic and South America circumnavigation including cruising the fjords of southern Chile and Argentina. She offers accommodations for up to 9 guests in 4 staterooms plus a gym and sleeps up to 9 crew. Notably, she features the ultimate private owner’s deck, with a stateroom, en suite, and sitting room located on the bridge deck. DOROTHEA III is equipped with a single propeller, which offers benefits such as 35% fewer emissions, lower maintenance, and increased safety with two separate engine rooms. She consumes only 26.4 gallons per hour at 10 knots, giving her a range of over 6,000 nautical miles. 

STAR

The 2015 Pershing Express 70’ STAR is in impeccable condition and waiting for her new owner. Pershing’s distinctive “wings” blends style and leading-edge technology. Pershing’s STAR features sleek lines and contemporary Italian décor, and include several gathering places which makes her ideal for family and friends. Comfortable accommodations are provided for 6 guests in 3 en suite staterooms, including a full-beam master, VIP and a twin. A large sliding-glass sunroof on the main deck combined with a drop-down aft glass bulkhead provides guests with an abundance of natural light & ventilation. MTU engines combined with Top System Surface Drives delivers speeds of up 46 knots with cruising speeds of 35 knots, while her bow and stern thrusters provide added maneuverability.

MARY P

Never offered for sale or charter, MARY P is the only sportfish yacht in the world that is classed to American Bureau of Shipping standards. The one-of-a-kind aluminum 122’ (37m) Trinity sport fisherman has the volume and interior spaces of a large motor yacht. Her hull design is by Doug Sharp with exterior design and engineering by Trinity/Geoff Van Aller, and her unique interior design is by Judy Bell-Davis. Sleeping 8 guests in 4 staterooms, her highly finished interior is customized with exquisite woods such as oak burl, African zebra and Japanese sen. She features handcrafted cabinetry, and book-matched granite as well as wraparound etched glass in the master bathroom. Built to satisfy the ultimate fisherman, this custom yacht incorporates numerous features designed to enhance her fishing capabilities, including Simrad forward-looking sonar in the bow, a transom specifically designed to back down on fish at 10 knots, Quantum MAGLift rotor stabilization, underwater exhaust and much more. She offers a cruising speed of 20 knots with a top speed of 25 knots, and is capable of a 3,000-mile range at displacement speeds.

ELLAGANCE

Ellagance offers an excellent opportunity to purchase a pre-owned yacht with a remaining warranty.  The 66’ ELLAGANCE boasts a huge interior and exterior volume , with 300-square-foot flybridge, and has been mainly used as a transport vessel from restaurant to restaurant. The interior of this popular 66’ Azimut is like new and has never been used for charter. Four well-appointed  guest staterooms provide accommodations for 8 guests in her large volume interior. LADY B

Accommodations for 11 guests in 6 en suite staterooms features a full-width Owner’s stateroom with fixed port and starboard balconies. Her full-beam skylounge with an expansive sun deck includes a day head, shower, BBQ and a protected Jacuzzi. Additional unique features include a glass-paneled elevator, a beach club, gym, and a uniquely designed layout allowing discrete crew access away from guests throughout the yacht. She’s available this thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year 2022 in the Bahamas or Caribbean.

MIZU

Uniquely styled and a true head-turner, this world cruiser with an Asian-inspired décor accommodates 10 guests in 5 luxurious en suite staterooms. In Japanese philosophy there are five elements, of which MIZU, or water, is one. It represents all things fluid and flowing but also relates to adaptability, flexibility and magnetism. The 53m MIZU Oceanfast represents many characteristics attributed to her name. MIZU’s contemporary interior spaces are calm yet vibrant and include an impressive range of entertainment features, including an on-deck Jacuzzi and basketball court. With an exhilarating top speed of up to 33 knots and an impressive long-range cruising capability, this ocean-going yacht lives up to her name. The Owner’s deck and bridge deck allow for scenic views, entertaining and privacy. Her generous sun deck with observation wings, 2 settees, 14-person Jacuzzi with semi-fixed awning, wet bar and barbeque makes this the perfect outdoor entertaining space.

PANDA

Monte Carlo’s 80’ PANDA-provides 8 guests and unparalleled ride and comfort while enjoying lush accommodations in 4 en suite staterooms, including a full-beam master. Well-appointed interior spaces include a beautifully designed salon with large windows that allow for ample light and breathtaking views while at anchor or at sea. Exterior entertaining areas feature a spacious flybridge with a large bar, seating, sunbathing and al fresco dining. The 80’ PANDA features twin MANs engines that offer a max speed of 30 knots combined with Seakeeper stabilizers and bow and stern thrusters providing comfort and maneuverability. Accommodations for 8 guests in 4 staterooms compliment the beautifully designed salon with expansive windows. Her exterior sports a large flybridge with a large bar, dining area and sun loungers.

QUANTUM

With a popular, galley-down 4-stateroom layout, the 125’ Broward QUANTUM’s striking décor combines stunning wood flooring with black furnishings and accents. Accommodations are provided in 4 stylish en suite staterooms providing 8 guests with luxury and comfort. With the galley located below deck, it allows added room for her spacious and stately main deck master. Her contemporary décor is accented with black lacquer furnishings, trim work and accessories. Her recent refit includes new paint, a Jacuzzi, A/V system, AC and more.

EVEN FLOW

EVEN FLOW offers an excellent opportunity to purchase while she still under warranty. Perfect for fishing and day outings with friends and family, this 42’ Scout LXF Center Console comes equipped with a live bait well, freshwater sink to clean, a cutting board to prep, and a BBQ grill to serve up today’s fresh catch. The convenient swim patio electronically folds down for easy access to the water. She also features oversized loungers and sunpads located at the bow, which convert to a table. Quad Mercury engines provide cruising speeds of 42 knots with exhilarating speeds up to 52 knots.

UNBRIDLED

Having completed multiple in-depth multimillion-dollar refits, the 116′ Crescent UNBRIDLED now boasts a stylish contemporary interior, as well as updated mechanical systems and electronics.  One of only a handful of yachts in this size range with the desirable 5 en suite stateroom layout, she sleeps 10 with a full-width master that features a king-sized bed and a marble-clad bathroom. The stylish salon area opens to a theater with surround-sound, a large U-shaped sofa, and a bar area with further seating. UNBRIDLED’s country-style galley is a favorite with guests who like to watch the chef prepare a custom-designed menu. Guests will enjoy relaxing in her stylish contemporary interior, soaking in the sun on her expansive flybridge featuring a bar, lounge area, and a Jacuzzi. The main aft deck is used for outdoor dining, as well as being a good vantage point for the jet-ski launchpad from the stern as well as launching water toys from her oversized teak swim platform. The upper flybridge also features a bar, lounge area, and Jacuzzi for cocktails under the stars.  There are sun loungers and several viewing seats that are a perfect hangout when the yacht is underway. The bow is another lovely spot for some peace and quiet with a comfortable sunpad and optional shade from the Bimini cover.
