The Upgraded 2021 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 

The world’s premier yachting exhibition, the 2021 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show showcases the best products and services the yachting industry has to offer. Over 80 percent of the show takes place in open-air outdoor spaces, and all event participants, including exhibitors, visitors, crew, and staff will be required to follow the recommendations laid out in Informa’s AllSecure standards, which include:

• Offering a contactless ticketing system
• Enhanced cleanings of all high touchpoints throughout the show before, during and after each day’s events
• Hand sanitizing stations at all entrances and restrooms
• Prepackaged food options at concession areas

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show covers approximately 90 acres across 3 million square feet of exhibit space connected by a broad network of transportation options. In 2019, the show attracted more than 100,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors from 52 countries.

The show’s Superyacht Village will once again be located at the Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina’s new “Pier South” location, at the southeast corner of the 17th Street Causeway bridge. The exclusive enclave will showcase some of the world’s most exceptional superyachts and exhibits, including distinguished shipyards, personal submarines, and exotic collectible automobiles.

Located in the Yachting Capital of the World, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show spans seven sites: the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Municipal Marina, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Pier Sixty-Six Marina, Pier Sixty-Six South, and the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, all of which are connected by an intricate network of ground and water-based transportation services. Her shallow 6′ (1.8m) draft is ideal for cruising the Bahamas or anywhere else around the globe in complete comfort that only a Feadship can provide. And her impressive propulsion package comprised of twin 3,650hp MTU engines and a 5,600hp gas turbine deliver a top speed of 34 knots and impressive efficiency at lower speeds. With an exterior designed by De Voogt and interiors by John Munford, she features luxurious accommodations for up to 10 guests in 4 staterooms including an on-deck master suite and full-beam VIP.

Designed to explore the world’s remote regions while being self-sufficient and leaving a low carbon footprint, the 147’ (45m) DOROTHEA III yacht is an expedition yacht that combines timeless design and a luxurious interior. She was built to be reliable and provide the efficiency of a commercial vessel while offering the fascination and freedom of yachting. DOROTHEA III has undergone three major refits – in 2011, 2015 & 2021 after having completed two Atlantic crossings and South Pacific, North Pacific, and West Coast of North America cruising totaling over 70,000nm. DOROTHEA III recently completed an Atlantic and South America circumnavigation including cruising the fjords of southern Chile and Argentina. She offers accommodations for up to 9 guests in 4 staterooms plus a gym and sleeps up to 9 crew. Notably, she features the ultimate private owner’s deck, with a stateroom, en suite, and sitting room located on the bridge deck. DOROTHEA III is equipped with a single propeller, which offers benefits such as 35% fewer emissions, lower maintenance, and increased safety with two separate engine rooms. She consumes only 26.4 gallons per hour at 10 knots, giving her a range of over 6,000 nautical miles.

The 132’ (40.2m) JUST SAYIN’ yacht built by Trident Shipworks has many of the amenities normally found on a much larger yacht. Her huge 28’4” (8.5m) beam combined with over 7’+ of headroom provide spacious accommodations for up to 9 guests in 4 staterooms including an on-deck master suite and a full-beam VIP with king-size beds. Her timeless décor is accented by full-height windows on the main and upper decks that flood the interior with light and beautiful views. JUST SAYIN’ underwent an extensive engineering refit in 2021 including a Whisper Gray paint job.

Built by Broward Marine in 1988, the 122′ (37.19m) OCEAN DRIVE yacht is a tri-deck aluminum motoryacht with teak decks that was refit in 2019 and received new décor in 2020. This spacious yacht accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 comfortable staterooms. Her master features a king berth and large private marble bath. Two queen staterooms and a twin stateroom are aft, all with private en suites and entertainment centers. There are multiple areas for relaxing and entertaining onboard, including a spacious bow lounge, the aft deck, featuring a table that seats 8, a bar, and a 300-bottle wine cooler, and the flybridge, which can be enjoyed virtually anytime thanks to a Bimini top with removable Eisenglass enclosure. She is equipped with twin Caterpillar engines, dual Northern Lights generators, and Naiad stabilizers.

Featuring exterior design by J.B. Hargrave Yacht Design and interior design by Yacht Interiors by Shelley, the 97′ (29.6m) HAPPY yacht by Hargrave accommodates up to 9 guests in 4 spacious staterooms, plus 4 crew. Delivered in 2005 and one of the three Hargrave 97 RPH models, her layout features two master staterooms, a VIP stateroom, and a triple stateroom. She is powered by twin Caterpillar C30 engines with 1,550hp each and has a comfortable cruise speed of 18 knots and a max speed of 24 knots.

Delivered in 2016, the stylish yet comfortable 91’ (28.01m) ONE LIFE yacht combines sophisticated design, exceptional performance, and seaworthiness, making her perfect for long-range cruising and exploration. This head-turning Marlow yacht accommodates up to 10 guests in 4 spacious ensuite staterooms including a full-beam master stateroom, as well as a separate crew cabin that sleeps up to 4. The master stateroom features a king-size bed, a VIP suite features a king bed and 2 twin bunks, and the remaining guests are accommodated in 2 twin staterooms. All of the staterooms, along with the rest of the yacht, are outfitted with designer fabrics, exquisite teak, and ebony satin finish woodwork. Her expansive flybridge is perfect for entertaining, and she is in turnkey condition. Powerful twin Caterpillar diesel engines with 1,900hp each give ONE LIFE a remarkable max speed of 29 knots and cruising speed of 23 knots. She is equipped with Yacht Controller, making docking a breeze, and she has been meticulously maintained.

Equipped with every comfort necessary for the ultimate relaxation, the 43′ (13.1m) Azimut Atlantis SEA ESTA yacht was built in 2016. This versatile cruiser accommodates up to 5 guests in 2 spacious and comfortable staterooms. The width and height of the various spaces on SEA ESTA are among the largest in her class. She offers multiple areas for relaxing, including a seating and dining area aft, a welcoming and sophisticated living area on her lower deck, and large cushions on her bow. SEA ESTA’s accommodations are located on the lower deck and are made up of comfortable, bright staterooms overlooking the horizon. Each stateroom’s en suite includes its own separate shower. The guest stateroom also can be fitted with a third bed for added flexibility. She is equipped with twin Volvo Penta engines with 400hp each giving her a maximum speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots.
